What is the new Easy Toll tag?
The new Easy Toll tag is an option all motorists can benefit from, it is ideal for pensioners, families, frequent and infrequent users as it offers easy access and affordable prices with no need for a $40 deposit and the minimum top up fee is just $10.
How much does it cost?
The new account has a one-off $3.30 set up fee when opening at a registry or a $1.50 set up fee when opening online.
It has a $1.25 monthly management fee for a single tag, with a $1 fee for a second tag, 75 cents for a third and 50 cents for every tag thereafter.
Pensioners will pay $1.50 to set up the account and will only pay 50 cents per month per tag attached to their account.
What is the minimum top up amount?
The minimum amount to top up the account is $10, there is no maximum limit and more than one tag can be linked to each account making it easier for a family to keep track of payments.
What are the payment options?
Motorists can pay the account using eftpos, credit card, money order, cheque and cash in registries; and can pay with credit card or debit card over the phone and online.
Payment options have been expanded to include money orders and cheques in registries and debit card over the phone and online. Bpay will also be available in coming months for people to top up and order tags online.
