RTA E-Toll

Electronic Tolling has made it easier than ever to get around Sydney. With an RTA Tag you can travel on any toll road in Australia, cash free. And now with even more options to choose from, you’ll find a tag or pass to suit you.

RTA tags and pases

Electronic tolling is available on all Sydney motorways. It’s designed to make getting around Sydney quicker and easier.

To help provide motorists with even more options, the RTA has developed a range of products designed to suit your individual needs.

These include:

  • Frequent user tag
  • Infrequent usertag
  • Short Term Tag
  • Easy Toll tag (new)
  • E-Toll Pass

When you receive your tag, follow the installation instructions to attach it to the inside of your vehicle’s windscreen. Each time you use a motorway, sensors mounted at toll collection points will detect the tag and the toll will be automatically charged to your tag account. There are no administration or low-usage fees for using an RTA E-Toll tag.
