Northern Region

• Pacific Highway – construction of sealed shoulders along the western side of the Western Service Road and the eastern side of the Eastern Service Road from Kennedy Drive to the Tweed Bypass interchange, Tweed Heads. Construction of a shared use path along the western side of the Western Service Road from Kennedy Drive to the northern end of the Tweed Bypass interchange, Tweed Heads.

The following projects are council based and details are available by contacting the relevant project officer at the following councils:

• Armidale/Dumaresq – construction of a shared use path along the south eastern side of Rockvale Road from Gordon Street to Arundel Drive, Armidale.
• Ballina – construction of a shared use path along the Endeavour Drive, Ballina.
• Bellingen - construction of a shared use path along the Connells Creek corridor from the south western end of the existing pathway to Crown Street, opposite Endeavour Drive, Bellingen.
• Byron – the second stage of construction of a shared use path along the western side of Bangalow Road from opposite the northern end of St Finbarrs Catholic Primary School to Old Bangalow Road (Cemetery Road), Byron Bay.  Includes refuge crossing of Bangalow Road at northern end of St Finbarrs and improvements to the existing eastern side shared use path particularly at its intersection with the path to Tallow Beach south of Arakwal National Park.
• Clarence Valley - construction of a shared use path along the northern side of Jubilee Street from Cameron Street, MacLean to Schwonberg Street, Townsend.
• Hastings – installation of both on and off-road cycleways along Hill Street and Lord Street, Port Macquarie.
• Kempsey - construction of a shared use path along the eastern side of Kemp Street from Eden Street to Elbow Street, Kempsey.
• Lismore - construction of a shared use path along the western side of Military Road from Dalley Street to the Southern Cross University (Lismore Campus) entrance, Lismore.
• Nambucca – construction of a timber boardwalk along the southern side of Riverside Drive from Quota Park to the Stuart Island Causeway, Nambucca Heads.
• Tamworth Regional - construction of a shared use path along the eastern side of Werris Creek Road from the southern end of the existing path, south of Electra Street, to the northern end of the existing path, south of Robert Street, South Tamworth.
• Tweed - construction of shared use path along King Street from Commercial Road to Alma Street, Murwillumbah
