  • A current NSW Pensioner Concession Card (PCC).
  • A Centrelink Confirmation of Concession Card Entitlement form providing the PCC is indicated on the form and is stamped by Centrelink. These are forms issued while the pensioner is awaiting their new PCC.
  • A Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Gold Card endorsed TPI (Totally and Permanently Incapacitated) or EDA (Extreme Disablement Adjustment).
  • For war widows under 60 years of age, a DVA Gold Card endorsed War Widow.
  • For war widows 60 years of age or older, a current NSW PCC.
  • A letter or statement/determination from the Department of Veterans' Affairs stating that the applicant receives a disability pension of 70 per cent or higher, or an Intermediate or Extreme Disablement Adjustment Pension.
  • Applicants under 16 years of age named as dependants on current NSW Pensioner Concession Cards are also eligible for MPS cards at a concession fee.

Fee concessions on MPS cards are available to applicants under 16 years of age who hold a current Centrelink Health Care Card.

Proof of concession is required before an applicant is eligible for concession fees.

Note:

  • RTA customers seeking a pensioner concession will have their concession status electronically validated with Centrelink. Centrelink will validate both Centrelink and DVA pensioner concession cards.
  • Pensioner Concession Cards and Health Care Cards issued in other States or Territories are not acceptable for claiming concessions.
