Seatbelts in taxis

All adults must wear a seatbelt if one is available.

Children less than one year old must use an appropriate child restraint. One in ten taxis carry a child restraint and a taxi with a child restraint may be requested when a booking is made.

Children must wear a restraint. This is may be a seatbelt or child restraint.

All taxis are fitted with child restraint anchors to allow you to use your own child restraint.

Taxi drivers are not required to wear seatbelts.
