Used Car Safety Ratings (UCSR) help you identify the safer models when you are purchasing a second-hand vehicle. Based on police records of over four million crashes on Australian and New Zealand roads,
vehicles are rated according to their on-road crash performance. The 2011 brochure gives safety ratings for 184 individual vehicle models built between 1996 and 2009.
