Data acquisition services

Mini-DAU

Crashlab uses the Gfs produced DIAdem package for data analysis .

DIAdem is regarded as the industry standard package for data analysis and is a very powerful tool for presentation as well as analysis.

The autosequence facility is particularly powerful where repetitive tasks can be automated to streamline the production of results and graphs, etc. 

The following testing services are conducted:

  • Shock testing
  • Impact testing
  • Explosive and other destructive tests

Equipment

  • 144 analog and 80 digital channels 20k sample rate. Portable, modular, robust. Units by 32 channels measuring 270 x 110 x 85mm.
  • 16 analog channels 8k sample rate. Small, modular, robust. Units by 8 channels measuring 180 x 105 x 57mm.
  • 48 analog channels 10k sample rate. System consists of PC's with signal conditioning.
  • Accelerometers up to 2000g.
  • Linear and rotary potentiometers.
  • Velocity measurement systems.
  • Single and multi axis load cells.
  • High speed cameras (up to 3,000 frames per second).

Crashlab’s primary data acquisition system is a Kayser-Threde Mini-DAU (Miniaturised Data Acquisition Unit) system of 144 analogue and 64 digital channels.
