Crashlab – accreditation

Crashlab is an independent test laboratory, who can customise standard-compliant tests to suit our client’s individual requirements.

Crashlab is fully accredited with:

  • National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA).
  • Vehicle Certification Agency, UK (VCA).
  • Saudi Arabian Standards Organisation (SASO).

The highly trained Crashlab staff understand and have experience in global test standards, including holding NATA ‘signatory’ status.

NATA accredited tests include:

  • AS 1753 – seatbelt webbing.
  • ADR 66/00 – bus seat strength, anchorages and padding.
  • ADR 66/00 – occupant protection in buses.
  • Driver protection screens in taxis.
  • AS 2596 & ADR 4/02 – seatbelt assemblies.
  • AS/NZS 1754 – child restraints.
  • AS/NZS 1891.1 – Industrial safety harnesses.
  • AS 2942 – wheelchair occupant restraints.
  • AS 2227 – Yachting harnesses.
  • AS 1698 – helmets for vehicle users.
  • AS/NZS 2063 – pedal cycle helmets.

Crashlab is also the principal test facility for Standards Australia (SAI Global) for product certification and testing.
