The NSW Government has announced the new Nepean River Green Bridge would best be located on the site of the historic punt crossing from Punt Road to Old Ferry Road.

Community Involvement

Three possible bridge designs were on display for the community feedback for four weeks between 17 September 2012 and 12 October 2012.

The feedback period is now closed.

Workshop

A community workshop was held at the Nepean Room, Penrith City Council on Thursday 20 September from 5.30pm-7pm.

Next Steps

Following community feedback on each of the three possible bridge designs, RMS will finalise the Draft Preliminary Bridge Design Options Report taking into account all stakeholders' comments. The report will be displayed for the community's information when completed. A review of environmental factors will be prepared on the concept design prior to construction starting in 2014.
