Picton Road Corridor Strategy
This Corridor Strategy provides an overview of Roads and Maritime Services (formerly Roads and Traffic Authority)'s long-term management and vision of the Picton Road corridor in line with Roads and Maritime Services (formerly Roads and Traffic Authority)'s stated objectives.
It has drawn upon assessments by Roads and Maritime Services (formerly Roads and Traffic Authority) of road conditions, traffic movements and road user safety within the corridor.
The strategy addresses road safety, transport efficiency and asset maintenance issues and sets a 25-year framework for the management of the corridor.
The corridor comprises the section of Picton Road (MR95) from the Mount Ousley Road (MR513) interchange to the Hume Highway (HW2) interchange and the section of Picton Road (MR612) from
the Hume Highway Interchange to Argyle Street (MR620) in Picton.
The corridor traverses the Wollongong and Wollondilly local government areas and is approximately 37 km long.
