Princes Highway upgrade at Gerringong
Roads and Maritime Services has contracted Fulton Hogan to design and construct the Gerringong Upgrade. Detailed design is underway with construction on the $310 million upgrade expected to start in the second half of 2012. For more information, click here.
Foxground to Berry Bypass
Roads and Maritime Services has developed and updated the preferred alignment and design for the Berry bypass through debate and discussion with residents.
A number of working groups have been established to work with the community on various design aspects for the preferred northern alignment and a southern bypass review. For more information, click here.
Bega bypass
The Australian Government is funding construction of the $60 million bypass of Bega on the Princes Highway. The bypass will be approximately 3.5 kilometres long and use an existing road corridor to the west of Bega. A contract has been awarded with construction scheduled to commenced in May 2012. Princes Highway upgrade at Victoria Creek
Major construction is well underway on the $45 million upgrade of the Princes Highway between Narooma Road (the Old Princes Highway) and Corkhill Drive at Central Tilba, 13km south of Narooma. For more information, click here.
