Eungai Deviation
The project provides a further 4.2 km of dual carriageway conditions on the Pacific Highway between Eungai Rail and Allgomera Road (34km to 38.3km north of Kempsey).
Duplicate bridges have been constructed alongside the existing bridges over Eungai and Allgomera Creeks as part of the new southbound carriageway.

- 700 metres of pipe-work.
- 2875 square metres of noise attenuation walls.
- 43,500 square metres of concrete pavement.
- 10,400 tonnes of asphalt.
- Bridgeworks included over 1,150 cubic metres of concrete and 225 tonnes of steel reinforcement.
Construction Details
The project was constructed by Ridge Consolidated Pty Ltd and commenced in January 1998.
Construction of the new southbound carriageway was completed to allow opening of dual carriageways to traffic on 17 December 1998.
The project was fully funded by the NSW State Government.
