The Bulahdelah upgrade will create an average of 270 direct and 840 indirect jobs each year during construction.

About the Buladelah upgrade

Roads and Maritime Services (formerly Roads and Traffic Authority) has contracted Baulderstone Pty Ltd to build the Bulahdelah upgrade.

Major construction activity commenced on site in July 2010.

Depending on weather conditions, this new section of the highway is expected to be open to traffic in late 2012.
