About the Banora Point upgrade
Roads and Maritime Services (formerly Roads and Traffic Authority) has formed an alliance with Abigroup Contractors, Seymour Whyte Constructions and SMEC to design and build the Banora Point upgrade.
Major works commenced in December 2010. Depending on weather conditions, we expect this new section of the highway to be open to traffic in mid 2012 and completed by late 2012.
