The Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Ballina currently covers a distance of 209 kilometres. When upgraded it will have a length of 203 kilometres.
Currently there are:
- 15 kilometres of four lane divided highway.
- 32 kilometres of four lane divided highway under construction.
- 6.5 kilometres being prepared for construction of four lane divided highway.
- 163 kilometres of four lane divided highway being planned.
