The Pacific Highway between Ballina and Tweed Heads (Bruxner Highway) currently covers a distance of 90.5 kilometres. When upgraded it will have a length of 88.5 kilometres.

Currently there are:

  • 70.5 kilometres of four lane divided highway.
  • 2.4 kilometres of four lane divided highway will be under construction.
  • 17 kilometres is being prepared for construction of four lane divided highway.

Please note: The kilometres in the dot points above may vary from the total length for this section due to adjustments made for connections and current four lane sections not on the final alignment.
