Notice to Motorists

Motorists are advised of ongoing changed traffic conditions due to work on the Hunter Expressway. 

John Renshaw Drive / George Booth Drive and Buchanan Road, Buchanan

Traffic will be stopped briefly on John Renshaw Drive from Averys Lane to Old Buttai Road, on George Booth Drive and Buchanan Road on weekdays from 7am to 6pm for minor work to be completed.

F3 Freeway

There will be ongoing work on weekdays between 7pm and 5am to install signs on the F3 Freeway.

The northbound freeway will be reduced to one lane from two kilometres south of George Booth Drive to 500 metres north of the Newcastle Link Road. The speed limit will be reduced to 40km/h and traffic may be stopped briefly.

Newcastle Link Road, Cameron Park

Traffic on Newcastle Link Road will be stopped briefly on weekdays between 9.30am and 2.30pm at the intersection of Newcastle Link Road, Cameron Park Drive and Woodford Street for minor work to be completed.

Camp Road, Greta

Alternating traffic conditions and short delays can be expected on weekdays from 7am to 6pm for the completion of drainage work at the tie in on the west side of the Camp Road underpass.

Wet weather may change work dates and times.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits will be in place where needed to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and other road users.
