Woodford to Hazelbrook

Project features

Winbourne Road, Hazelbrook and Station Street, Woodford

  • Widening the highway to a four lane divided road, with a centre median and shoulders with a minimum width of two metres on both sides of the highway.
  • An off road pedestrian/cycle path to connect other paths built in previous stages of the Woodford to Hazelbrook upgrade.
  • A new pedestrian bridge between Winbourne Road and Burford Street to better connect the railway station and Hazelbrook shopping centre.
  • Protected centre bays for turning vehicles at Clearview Parade, Park Road and Woodford Avenue.
  • Removal of the ramps connecting the Hazelbrook railway station overbridge.
  • A full stormwater system, including water detention basins.
  • Full size bus stop bays.
  • Landscaping for the full length of the project.
