Sydney T-ways

North West T-way 

The T-way bus network serving north-western and south-western Sydney, comprises bus lanes on existing roads and bus-only roadways.

The T-way bus network provides reliable public transport to communities living and working in the north-western and south-western suburbs of Sydney.

The T-way network comprises:

  • A 17 km link from Parramatta to Rouse Hill primarily adjacent to Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road.
  • A 7 km link from Blacktown to Parklea, adjacent to Sunnyholt Road.
  • A 31 km link from Liverpool to Parramatta. 
  • Bus services on the Liverpool to Parramatta T-way began in February 2003.
  • Bus services on the Parramatta–Rouse Hill T-way began on Sunday 11 March 2007.
  • Bus services on the Blacktown–Parklea T-way began on Sunday 4 November 2007.

T-way benefits

  • Links people with hospitals, schools, TAFE colleges, major shopping centres and sporting and recreation facilities.
  • Links people with the CityRail network at Blacktown, Westmead and Parramatta.
  • Improves links to industrial and commercial areas.
  • Reduces travel time.
