RFS's Asphalt division delivers excellent ride quality for all types of road projects.

We supply and lay all grades of asphalt paving either from our own plant at Russell Vale or from one of our panel of quality-assured contractors.

Highly trained operators

Our operators are highly trained having completed:

• The AAPA (Australian Asphalt Pavement Association) training courses:
  – Asphalt Placement and Compaction
  – Working Safely with Bitumen
• Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI). Our crews are experienced in paving next to and over railway lines.

Our operators are experienced at night-works – our way of ensuring minimum disruption to traffic and are trained to work safely – to minimise your risk exposure.

Experts in mix design

RFS runs our own production plant at Russell Vale but also source material from our panel of quality-assured contractors. Our plant is used for developing and testing mix designs and RFS engineers have contributed to standards (such as RTA specifications) through their practical experience in using asphalt products.
