RFS Bridge Services division is an industry leader in lead-paint removal & repainting, and maintenance painting.

The most prominent of our works is the long-term project to replace the lead paint on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We have carried out similar repainting work on numerous other bridges throughout NSW.

Quality assurance

Our lead paint removal work is quality assured and complies with the following standards:

• AS 4361.1 Guide to lead paint management, Part 1: Industrial applications
• AS 1627.4 Metal finishing – Preparation and pretreatment of surfaces – Abrasive blast cleaning of steel

RFS is certified to PCCP (Painting Contractors Certification Program) Category ‘Protective coatings’, Classes 1 to 5 (full); ‘Shop and site application of coatings including management of hazardous coatings’.

RFS holds National Prequalification, category T – Technical coatings.
