About Road & Fleet Services

Road & Fleet Services (RFS) is the civil construction service provider of NSW Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority). We operate commercially and competitively in the civil works market. We deliver services across New South Wales and are increasingly delivering projects in other parts of Australia.

We are a highly capable civil engineering organisation. We have robust management systems, disciplined work practices and a skilled and dedicated workforce. Our aim is to deliver quality services and manage your project risks.

RFS is uniquely placed to deliver high quality services in all aspects of road and traffic infrastructure - road and bridge works, traffic infrastructure, intelligent traffic management systems, and construction fleet.

Approved service provider to NSW Government agencies

Circular 40 of 2008 (C2008-40) from the Department of Premier and Cabinet explicitly advises that:

1. Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) is the NSW Government's supplier of roads and related services
2. Roads and Maritime Services' service delivery arm (Road & Fleet Services) operates commercially
3. There is no impediment in legal requirements or procurement or tendering policies to NSW Government agencies engaging Road & Fleet Services for road-related works.
