Renewing your vehicle registration

Did you know you can now renew your registration for light and heavy vehicles in three easy steps - and save yourself a trip to the motor registry?

All you need to do is:

1. Buy your green slip.
   Most CTP insurers send confirmation of payment to the RTA electronically (more information on CTP insurance).
   Before you renew - compare green slip prices from ALL insurers with the green slip calculator at www.greenslips.nsw.gov.au.
2. Have an inspection (if needed).
   Have your vehicle inspected at any e-Safety Check station and they will send a copy of your inspection report to the RTA electronically (more information on inspections).
3. Renew online at myRTA.

   You can still renew your registration by phone, mail or at a motor registry. See your renewal notice for details.
