Registering vehicles
The Motor Dealer's Guide covers the procedures for motor dealers registering vehicles. It is also an effective training aid for new dealership staff.
Dealer Online (DOL)
Dealer Online (DOL) is a free RMS internet-based application that enables accredited DVRS motor dealers trading in new or used vehicles to perform registration transactions without the need to visit a registry.
Current transactions available through DOL include registration establish for new and second hand vehicles, notice of disposal, transfer, renewal and plate exchange.
If you are a dealer interested in using DOL please contact your local registry. Once you are accredited, RMS will provide comprehensive system training to assist motor dealer staff in becoming competent in the use of DOL.
Business-to-Business (B2B) web interface
The Business-to-Business (B2B) web interface provides a link between a dealer's stock management system and RMS systems. The interface is provided by a third party software vendor.

Trader's plates
Trader's plates are issued to motor dealers to allow unregistered vehicles to be driven for demonstration purposes, or to move vehicles from one dealership or repair shop to another.
