Elect to be of good behaviour

This service allows you the option to elect to be of good behaviour as an alternative to a demerit point suspension of your unrestricted driver licence.

To use this service you will need the following items:

  1. The demerit point Notice of Suspension.
  2. Your driver licence.

Please note: This service is only available for a specific time period as indicated on your Notice of Suspension. At the end of this process you will receive a confirmation receipt of your successful election to be of good behaviour. You will know you have successfully elected to be of good behaviour because you will see the confirmation receipt on the screen. If you do not see the confirmation receipt on the screen, you have not successfully elected to be of good behaviour. You will be able to print the confirmation receipt or request an email copy. Roads and Maritime Services will also mail a copy of the confirmation receipt to you.
