Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS)

The Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) provides parking concessions to people with mobility disabilities. Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) issues a licence-style card that includes the cardholder’s photograph, and other security features such as a hologram and a 'ghost' photo image. Proof of identity is required to ensure only eligible people receive a card. Read more >>

Services for the hearing impaired

For customers who are deaf or have hearing impairments, Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) recommends the National Relay Service. This free, Australia-wide telephone access service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Read more >>
