How does the RTA consult with Aboriginal communities about cultural heritage
The RTA’s Procedure for Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Consultation and Investigation (PACHCI) has been developed to ensure that we follow the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water’s requirements for consultation when undertaking activities which impact on Aboriginal cultural heritage. This procedure provides a process to ensure that the views of Aboriginal people on Aboriginal cultural heritage matters are considered and respected by the RTA during project development and implementation.
