Under the Tow Truck Industry Act 1998 and Tow Truck Industry Regulation 2008, all tow truck industry regulatory functions are now carried out by Roads and Maritime Services.
Anything done by the former Tow Truck Authority and having effect immediately before 30 November 2007 is taken to have been done by Roads and Maritime Services. In any document, a reference to the Tow Truck Authority is to be read as or as including reference to Roads and Maritime Services.
