A study commissioned by Roads and Maritime Services has shown that a small number of repeat offenders are responsible for a large proportion of the heavy truck speeding offences in NSW. Risk factors include delivery deadlines and competition within the industry. Those companies with more responsible safe driving practices, are leading the change of culture that is needed, to ensure our roads are safer for all road users.
