Lets face it, part of every surf trip with the crew is made up of boards, wetties, wax and your ride.
Chasing the endless summer is what we all dream about and there’s nothing better than strapping the boards to the roof and getting on the road. But there would be nothing worse than putting your mates at risk and missing the chance to surf some new breaks, by driving recklessly.
To help promote safe driving and road safety messages GEARED is continuing its partnership with Surfing NSW.
The partnership with Surfing NSW in 2010 saw GEARED support over 40 junior surf events up and down the NSW coast.
The partnership aims to reach grommets and junior surfers, and get you thinking about safe driving practices as well as offer helpful hints on getting and keeping your licence, buying and maintaining a car and advice on how to keep you and your mates safe on the road.
We’ve even got four GEARED Pro Junior surfers on board to tell us about their experiences driving to the surf.
