Mandatory release

The introduction of the GIPA Act on 1 July 2010 requires Roads and Maritime Services to publish the following specific open access information on its website, free of charge. NSW Government Agencies have six months from 1 July 2010 to comply with these requirements. 

  • Publication Guide
    The Publication Guide contains details of Roads and Maritime Services' (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) functions, advisory committees, documents held, access to documents and contact details for the Government Information and Privacy Officers.
  • Roads and Maritime Services and Roads and Traffic Authority documents tabled in Parliament
    Roads and Traffic Authority Annual Report will be tabled in Parliament later this year. The 2010 Annual Report is available to view.
  • Policies

    The Freedom of Information Act required Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) to publish policies that relate to the functions of Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) and have the potential to impact on its customers. These are available in the Summary of Affairs.

  • The Disclosure Log
    The Disclosure Log is a record containing details of government information already released under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act).

    Details of  Roads and Maritime Services and Roads and Traffic Authority Contracts Awarded are currently published.
  • Details of any parts of Roads and Maritime Services and Roads and Traffic Authority Policies withheld
