The RTA Aboriginal Heritage Guidelines have been prepared to assist RTA staff in maintaining the highest standards when they are involved with any issues concerning Aboriginal heritage. They are aimed particularly at staff involved in property management or planning, development or maintenance activities and in the environmental impact assessment of those activities. The guidelines are a partner to the RTA Heritage Guidelines. The guidelines are also an important element of the RTA's Aboriginal Action Plan 2001-2006.
