Summary
This is the 1st CD of the 2 CD set.
The project was based on 47 hours of digitally recorded interviews with 37 participants - current and former staff of the RTA and its predecessor organisations the Department of Motor Transport, Traffic Authority and Department of Main Roads. It discusses the many innovative ideas and new technologies which have been utilised over the years to manage traffic on the road network, and the various methods and techniques employed to improve the safety and efficiency of the transport system.
