Summary
This report summarises the observations and conclusions of an Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) delegation that visited Japan from 30 September to 10 October 2003 to investigate current and emerging technology and practices relating to ventilation of road tunnels.
The visit was ordered by the NSW Minister for Roads and formed part of Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority)’s ongoing efforts to stay abreast of international developments in road tunnel ventilation.
