Solid Fuel Heater Buy Back Program

Residential wood burning causes up to 40 per cent of winter air pollution in the Sydney metropolitan area. As part of the M5 East Air Quality Management Plan, the RTA conducted the Solid Fuel Heater Buy Back Program to reduce this pollution. The program ended on 31 December 2007.
