Eastern Distributor Ambient Air Quality Levels

Levels for the month 1 June 2001 to 1 July 2001

The graphs show ambient air levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) and Particulate Matter (PM10) over a month starting from 12 am on the first day of the month. The levels were measured by the RTA's two Eastern Distributor Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations. The stations are located in Woollomooloo near the northern portal of the tunnel (ED1) and in Darlinghurst near the northern ventilation stack (ED2).

The horizontal line on the graphs shows the air quality goal applied to the Eastern Distributor by the Minister of Urban Affairs and Planning (MUAP).

Exceedences

There were no exceedences of the MUAP air quality approval goals for NO2 and PM10 during this month.

The Eastern Distributor Ambient Air Quality Levels are updated on or about the 15th day of the month.

Disclaimer

The graphs on this page are plotted from data that comes directly from the air monitoring stations. This data may be adjusted at a later time through a standardised procedure to account for instrument errors, power interruptions and the like.
