Project Management
Summary
Project management is an approach to effectively manage the resources and tasks necessary to complete a project and achieve specific objectives.
This section provides some generic project management principles and tools that may be adopted by councils in the management of their projects.
For State roads where the council has an agreement with RTA to manage the maintenance, refer to Road Maintenance Council Contracts for details on project management.
For specific RTA projects, councils will be guided by the relevant RTA regional staff on project management requirements.
