Summary

The NSW government provides financial assistance to local government in the form of a range of 'Grants' to assist Councils to manage and develop their road network. The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) administers this process through established guidelines as set out in the documents 'Financial Arrangement with Council for road management', Annual 'Regional Road Block Grant Agreements 2008/09' and Regional Roads 'REPAIR' Program Guidelines.
