The RTA has developed a series of technical directions and manuals to assist traffic and transport practitioners in providing consistency of practice and services for road users.
These directions and manuals have been provided on-line to offer ease of access for practitioners and interested parties.
Included in the suite of documents are:
- Technical Directions,
- Manuals, and
- Draft directions and manuals which have been issued for comment.
Two additional services have also been provided. The distribution of a notice, called 'Traffic Engineering Issues', which addresses industry issues and concerns related to traffic and transport directions and polices. In addition an email feedback service has also been provided for those practitioners who require more information or clarification on traffic and transport polices or guidelines.
