The RTA produces two types of traffic management related technical reference documents. The first is technical manuals which are reference manuals dealing with specific topics (e.g. Pay Parking). The second is technical notes (known as Technical Directions) which detail new practice, or update existing practice, not shown in current RTA guidelines.
This register allows you to find details on our reference documents in a three ways. Firstly, from a full list, sorted alphabetically. Secondly, from a list of technical manuals, again sorted alphabetically. Thirdly, from a list of Technical Directions, sorted by their reference number.
All RTA traffic management related policies and guidelines are referred to in this register.
Electronic copies of the documents are provided where available and these documents can be viewed, downloaded or printed. Alternatively the documents may be available by contacting the RTA's Information Reference Centre on (02) 8849 2913.
