Sturt Highway to Tarcutta

The Sturt Highway to Tarcutta project will duplicate six kilometres of roadway from the Sturt Highway intersection to north of Tarcutta. An environmental assessment for the proposed Sturt Highway to Tarcutta duplication has been prepared in accordance with the process and requirements of Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Community update 2007

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is proposing to upgrade a six kilometre single carriageway section of the Hume Highway from the Sturt Highway to north of Tarcutta. This project is fully funded by the Australian Government.
