Hexham to Bulahdelah
Power line work will take place at Heatherbrae (northbound 4km north of Hexham). Temporary traffic control will be implemented on Sunday 5 (7.00am to 2.30pm) involving a reduced speed limit, shoulder and slow lane closures. Some minor delays will be experienced.
Drainage and/or road marking management work will take place at the following locations. Some minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and/or lane closures at some locations:
- Old Punt Rd (3km north of Hexham) on Monday 29 (9.30am to 2.30pm);
- Raymond Terrace (8km north of Hexham) on Mon. 29 (9.30am to 2.30pm);
- Karuah Bypass to Myall Way (41 to 52km north of Hexham) on Wednesday 1 (7.30am to 3.30pm).
Construction work will take place between Myall Way (13km north of Karuah) and Bulahdelah. Temporary traffic control and diversions will be implemented from Monday 29 to Saturday 4 (7.00am to 6.00pm) involving reduced speed limits, lane closures with only one lane alternately available and intermittent stoppages. Minor delays will be experienced.
Bulahdelah to Taree
Safety barrier and/or vegetation management work will take place at the following locations. Some minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and/or lane closures at some locations:
- Bulahdelah Freeway (3 to 25km nth of Bulahdelah) from Mon.29 to Fri. 3;
- Koorainghat (southbound 7 to 9km south of Taree) on Sun. 5 and Mon. 29.
Taree to Kempsey
Construction work will take place between Coopernook and Herons Ck (25 to 58km north of Taree). Temporary traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Saturday 4 (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits, intermittent stoppages and/or lane closures. Minor delays will be experienced.
Pavement maintenance work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (6.30am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available:
- Blackmans Point (33 to 38km south of Kempsey) from Mon. 29 to Sat. 4; &
- Telegraph Point (32km south of Kempsey) on Saturday 27.
Kempsey
Bridge work will take place at the Macleay River. Temporary traffic control will be implemented on Friday 3 (11.00pm to 5.00am night) involving lane closures with only one lane alternately available. Minor delays will be experienced.
Kempsey to Coffs Harbour
Pavement maintenance, delineation, road marking, survey and/or private development work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Kempsey to Coffs Harbour from Tuesday 30 to Friday 3;
- Warrell Creek (3 to 6km south of Macksville) on Tuesday 30;
- Macksville (52km north of Kempsey) on Sunday 5 (6.00am to 8.00pm);
- Pine Creek (17km south of Coffs Harbour) on Wednesday 1; and
- Bonville (southbound 8km south of Coffs Harbour on Wednesday 1.
Bridge work will take place at Teagues Creek (5km south of Nambucca Heads). Temporary traffic control will be implemented on Tuesday 30 (9.30am to 3.00pm) involving a reduced speed limit and lane closures with only one lane alternately available. All vehicles in excess of 3.8m. wide are required to contact 0417 236 337 at least one (1) hour prior to reaching the site. Minor delays will be experienced.
Coffs Harbour to Grafton
Pavement maintenance work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Coffs Harbour to Dirty Creek Range (17km north of Woolgoolga) from Tuesday 30 to Friday 3;
- Mullaway to Corindi (3 to 11km north of Woolgoolga) from Tuesday 30 to Friday 3;
- Dirty Creek Range (17km north of Woolgoolga) on Friday 3; and
- Dirty Creek Range (18km north of Woolgoolga) to South Grafton on Tuesday 30.
Survey work will take place between Kororo and Woolgoolga (10 to 23km north of Coffs Harbour), and at Arrawarra (4 to 6km north of Woolgoolga). Temporary intermittent traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Friday 3 (7.00am to 5.00pm). No delays are expected.
Vegetation management work will take place between Dirty Creek Range and Glenugie (10 to 38km south of Grafton). Mobile traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Friday 3 (7.30am to 3.30pm). No delays are expected.
Grafton to Maclean
Pavement maintenance work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays may be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Grafton to Maclean (42km north of Grafton) on Wednesday 1;
- Tyndale (9km south of Maclean) on Thursday 2;
Embankment repair and reconstruction work will take place at Shark Creek (9km south of Maclean). Temporary traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Sunday 5 (24 hours) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available. An absolute maximum width restriction of 5.0m. wide is now in place between physical barriers. Minor delays will be experienced.
Embankment repair work will take place at Maclean (39km north of Grafton). Temporary traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Saturday 4 (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available. Minor delays will be experienced.
Maclean to Ballina
Pavement maintenance, traffic counter and/or vegetation management work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays may be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Maclean (42km north of Grafton) on Monday 29;
- Maclean to Ballina on Friday 3;
- Harwood (4km north of Maclean) on Tuesday 30;
- Tabbimoble (28 to 36km north of Maclean) from Monday 29 to Friday 3;
- Woodburn (37km south of Ballina) on Thursday 2;
- Broadwater (26km south of Ballina) on Tuesday 30 (9.30am to 12.00noon); and
- Uralba (13km south of Ballina) on Wednesday 1.
Power line work will take place at Broadwater (21km south of Ballina). Temporary traffic control will be implemented on Wednesday 1 (8.30am to 3.00pm) involving shoulder and/or lane closures with only one lane alternately available. Minor delays will be experienced.
Construction work will take place for the Ballina Bypass (4 to 6km south of Ballina). Temporary traffic control involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and lane closures will remain in place from Monday 29 to Sunday 5. No delays are expected.
Ballina
Delineation and/or traffic counter work will take place at the following locations. Some Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Fishery Creek Bridge on Monday 29 (7.00pm to 1.00am night); and
- Bicentennial Gardens on Thursday 5 (7.00pm to 10.00pm night).
Construction work will take place at Kerr Street and Bangalow Road. Temporary traffic control and diversions will be implemented from Monday 29 to Saturday 4 (7.00am to 5.00pm) with a reduced speed limit, shoulder and lane diversions. All vehicles in excess of 3.5 m. wide are required to contact
0414 913 802 at least one (1) hour prior to reaching the site. Some minor delays will be experienced.
Ballina to Queensland State Border
Construction work will take place for the Ballina Bypass (4 to 13km north of Ballina). Temporary traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Saturday 4 (7.00am to 5.00pm), and Thursday 2 (10.00pm to 2.00am night) involving reduced speed limits, lane closures and/or short term stoppages with only one lane alternately available. Blasting operations with closures in both directions will take place near Ross Lane (12km north of Ballina) on Thursday 2 (1.15pm to 1.30pm). Motorists should provide an additional 15 minutes travel time as considerable delays will be experienced.
Vegetation management work will take place between Ewingsdale and Brunswick Heads (35 to 43km north of Ballina). Mobile traffic control will be implemented from Monday 29 to Friday 3 (7.00am to 5.00pm). No delays are expected.
Pavement maintenance, traffic counter and/or vegetation management work will take place at the following locations. Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented (7.00am to 5.00pm) involving reduced speed limits and lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations:
- Cumbalum (just north of Ballina) on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 (9.30am to 3.00pm);
- Newrybar (22km north of Ballina) From Wednesday 1 to Friday 3;
- Tweed Street Overpass (43km north of Ballina) from Monday 29 to Thursday 2;
- Marshalls Creek Overflow (northbound 48km north of Ballina) from Monday 29 to Thursday 1;
- Stock Road Overpass (southbound 49km north of Ballina) from Monday 29 to Thursday 2;
- Clothiers Creek (24km south Qld Border) on Thursday 2 (10.00pm to 1.00am night); and
- Tweed Heads Bypass from Tuesday 30 to Friday 3 (9.30am to 3.00pm).
