Final approval has been granted for the Bulahdelah Pacific Highway upgrade. The Chief Executive of the RTA determined on 2 October 2007 that the construction and operation of the Bulahdelah upgrade could proceed subject to the conditions set out in the approvals of the NSW Minister for Planning and the Commonwealth Minister for Environment and Water Resources.
The Commonwealth Minister for Environment and Water Resources approved the project under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act on 10 September 2007 following approval by the NSW Minister for Planning on 9 July 2007.
