Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) has completed an environmental assessment on the preferred concept for the Banora Point upgrade. As part of the assessment process, the RTA made a referral to the Federal Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. This referral related to the potential impact that the Proposal may have on endangered flora and fauna species under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act, 1999.
