The Australian and NSW governments have announced the route options between Mount Victoria and Lithgow.

Your comments on the route options are invited and will be accepted until Friday 20 November 2009.

What happens next?

A preferred route option has not been selected at this stage.

A decision will be made considering:

• The outcomes of any further technical and environmental investigations.
• Community and stakeholder comments on the route options.
• The outcome of a value management workshop.

A recommendation will be made to the Minister for Transport on the preferred route, which will then be displayed for further comment and refinement.

A preferred route will be announced by Easter 2010.
