Great Western Highway upgrade - Lawson

As part of the Great Western Highway upgrade, it is planned to realign and widen the highway between Ferguson Avenue, Hazelbrook and Honour Avenue, Lawson, to a four lane divided road. This is being completed in two sections. The work will be undertaken by a project team that includes the RTA, Abigroup Pty Ltd and SKM Pty Ltd.

The form of contract is called an alliance.

Ferguson Avenue, Hazelbrook to Bass Street, Lawson

As part of the Great Western Highway upgrade at Lawson, it is planned to realign and widen the highway between Ferguson Avenue, Hazelbrook and Bass Street, Lawson, to a four lane divided road. Detailed design has commenced and construction work is currently scheduled to commence in 2010.
