Accessing private property
Summary
The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) sometimes needs to enter private property
to carry out field investigations to assist in the development of road projects.This fact
sheet answers some commonly asked questions about why the RTA would need to
access properties and the rights of landowners in this situation.
