Community involvement provides important information on RTA road development and maintenance proposals and identifies major issues and community concerns. The RTA regards it as a key input to developing its policies, programs and projects.
The RTA invites anyone with an interest in the upgrade to make suggestions as these assist the RTA to make improvements to the projects.
Details of any significant modifications proposed to projects are provided in community newsletters, public displays and/or local newspaper advertisements.
The RTA strives to minimise any delays and inconvenience during construction of the upgrade. It will keep the community informed of any necessary alternative traffic arrangements during construction.
