Hume Highway

The Hume Highway is a major link connecting Sydney with Melbourne. Improvements are fully funded by the Federal Government. Design and construction is supervised by the RTA.

Here are some of the improvements:

  • The Mittagong Bypass is 15 km long.
  • The Goulburn Bypass is 13 km of concrete dual carriageway.
  • The Cullarin Range Deviation consists of 34 km of dual carriageway.
  • 17 km of dual carriageways between the Cullarin Range Deviation and the Yass Bypass.
  • The Yass Bypass, with 15 bridges and 18 km of dual carriageways.
  • The Jugiong Bypass, with 13 km of dual carriageways.
  • Dual carriageways between the Snowy Mountains and Sturt Highways.
