The RTA Signs Database has been provided for use by traffic engineering practitioners within the RTA, local Government and consultancies, who are required to determine the most appropriate sign for a given situation. The database can also be used by RTA officers responsible for ordering signs and sign manufacturers required to produce signs for the RTA, or local Councils.
The database contains details of Guide (examples only), Regulatory, Temporary and Warning signs. It provides details such as:
- the currency of the sign (Non-standard signs should not be used in NSW),
- available sizes,
- sign materials, and
- the actual sign design drawing.
You should use either the sign number or sign description to search the database.
